Chain of Lakes. The chain of lakes consists of four lakes: Wilson, Long, Elk, and Duroy.
Wilson Lake is ideal for the year-round
fishing enthusiast. It offers excellent musky
fishing, as well as great northern pike,
walleye, bass, and panfish. Fish from your
dock at Birch Island Resort, or explore the
entire chain of lakes on an afternoon
excursion. Don't forget extra bait!
For the hunters, Price County has thousands
of acres of county, state, and federal forest
land known for excellent bear, deer, and
grouse hunting. Private land and guide
service are also available for lease through
Birch Island Resort.
During the winter months, there is all kinds of
fun! Ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and
snowshoeing are popular activities. For the
snowmobilers, Price County prides itself with
